Tackling An Affirmative Action Plan: AAP Summary & Wrap-Up

When:  Nov 29, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM (ET)

To finalize our 2017 DE Compliance 101 series, we’ll recap the basic framework of an Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and the importance of each component when tied to your federal contractor obligations. Join Executive Director, Candee Chambers, and Director, Member Engagement, Jen Bernhardt, as they address the six essential components of an AAP–the Narrative, Organizational Profile, Job Group Analyses, Availability Analyses, Utilization Analyses and Placement Goals & Good Faith Efforts.

The sixth and final installment of this series begins Wednesday, November 29 at 2:00 PM EST and will discuss:

  • Highlighting each of the essential components of an AAP
  • Review how to link all parts of an AAP together and discuss how each section builds on the previous one
  • How to use the AAP and train the audience for which its intended
  • Best practice recommendations for implementation

While the topic of writing and developing an AAP is complex, these webinars are not. Each segment has formatted into bite-sized learning so you can gain a clear understanding of each component. This webinar is scheduled for a short 45 minutes (30 minutes of content; 15 minutes of questions).

Join us as we wrap up this series and help you better understand how to compose an affirmative action plan. During the webinar, ask questions via social media using the #DEcompliance101 and we’ll answer them live during the webinar, and also post answers in our Member Community.
